Specifications & Features

Elegant and Extra-Durable Design

The Huawei Nova 15 Max has a modern design with a circular rear camera module surrounded by Huawei’s classic red-ring detail. Its symmetrical appearance and narrow bezels give the phone a clean and contemporary look.

Huawei reinforces the device with a high-strength aluminium-alloy inner frame designed to improve resistance against accidental drops and daily wear. The phone has also received a five-star SGS drop-resistance certification under controlled testing conditions.

Despite accommodating an 8,500mAh battery and a large display, the Nova 15 Max measures approximately 7.98mm thick. It weighs around 232g, making it relatively slim for a phone with such a large battery.

Design features include:

• High-strength aluminium-alloy inner frame
• Extra-durable drop-resistant construction
• Five-star SGS drop-resistance certification
• Classic red-ring camera design
• Slim bezels on all four sides
• 7.98mm thickness
• Approximately 232g weight

The phone is drop-resistant rather than indestructible. Using a suitable case and screen protector is still recommended.

Huawei Nova 15 Max Colours

The Huawei Nova 15 Max is available in three colours:

• Blush Gold
• Lake Cyan
• Golden Black

6.84-Inch OLED Display

Its high-resolution panel produces clear text, detailed images and vibrant colours, making it suitable for movies, social media, games, browsing and document viewing. The screen supports 1.07 billion colours and the P3 wide colour gamut for smoother colour transitions and richer visuals.

Display specifications include:

• 6.84-inch OLED display
• 2756 × 1272-pixel resolution
• Approximately 444ppi
• 1.07 billion colours
• P3 wide colour gamut

• 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming

Smooth 120Hz Refresh Rate

The display supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. This provides smoother scrolling, fluid menu animations and a more responsive experience when using supported applications and games.

The actual refresh rate may adjust according to the application, displayed content and power-management settings.

Bright Outdoor Visibility

With up to 4,000 nits peak brightness under supported conditions, the Nova 15 Max display remains easier to view in bright outdoor environments.

The maximum figure is achieved in specific areas of the display under controlled conditions, so normal full-screen brightness will be lower.

Eye-Comfort Display Technology

The Nova 15 Max supports 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming in low-light conditions. This helps reduce visible screen flicker and can provide a more comfortable viewing experience when using the phone at night.

Huawei also uses ultra-low flicker technology with an SVM value of less than one. These features are designed to improve viewing comfort, but the phone is not a medical device.

The rear camera system supports up to 10x digital zoom.
