JBL Soundgear Sense Specifications & Features
JBL OpenSound Technology
The Soundgear Sense uses JBL OpenSound Technology with air conduction rather than placing a speaker inside the ear canal. This design lets you listen to your audio while maintaining greater awareness of your surroundings.
16.2 mm Dynamic Drivers
Large 16.2 mm dynamic drivers deliver JBL’s signature sound with strong bass and clear audio despite the open-ear construction.
Open-Ear Comfort
Because the headphones do not seal the ear canal, they avoid the pressure associated with conventional in-ear earbuds. This makes them particularly suitable for users who find silicone ear tips uncomfortable.
Adjustable Ear Hooks
The flexible ear hooks can be adjusted to help achieve a comfortable and secure fit. They are designed to stay in position during walking, exercise, commuting, and other daily activities.
Detachable Neckband
A detachable neckband is included for additional security during more intensive activities. It connects the two earbuds and can be removed when it is not required.
Up to 24 Hours of Battery Life
The earbuds provide up to 6 hours of playback, while the charging case provides an additional 18 hours, giving you up to 24 hours of combined listening time.
Speed Charge
A quick 15-minute charge provides up to 4 additional hours of playback, making it convenient when you need to recharge before leaving.
Four Microphones for Calls
The Soundgear Sense uses four microphones to help capture your voice clearly during calls while reducing distracting environmental noise.
Bluetooth 5.3
Bluetooth 5.3 provides reliable wireless connectivity with compatible smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other Bluetooth devices.
Multi-Point Connection
With Multi-Point Connection, the Soundgear Sense can maintain connections with two compatible Bluetooth devices, allowing you to switch conveniently between devices.
IP54 Water and Dust Resistance
The headphones carry an IP54 rating, providing protection against dust, sweat, and water splashes. This makes them suitable for workouts and outdoor everyday use.
JBL Headphones App
The JBL Headphones app provides access to compatible EQ adjustments, controls, and other personalization settings.
