Display
The Xiaomi 12X is easy to use single-handed thanks to its large edge-to-edge curved screen. Underneath its display is an optical fingerprint scanner. It’s pretty fast, pretty responsive. Nothing really to complain about it save for its placement? It is a bit lower than usual. Even lower than how it has been placed on the Pro version. On top of the display is a hole punch. This houses its 30MP selfie camera.
Cameras
First off, let us start by saying we absolutely adore the camera on the Xiaomi 12X. Its great design choice makes it look really pleasant. Now the three sensors you see here are exactly the same as the ones on Xiaomi 12. The primary shooter is the same 50 MP, f/1.9, 26mm (wide), 1/1.56″, 1.0µm, PDAF, OIS lens. Its images are decent the results of which are comparable to Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G’s. The secondary shooter is a 13 MP, f/2.4, 12mm, 123? (ultrawide), 1/3.06″, 1.12µm lens and the third a 5 MP, 50mm (telephoto macro), AF lens.
There is up to 8K@24fps, 4K@30/60fps video recording with the main camera. Other qualities include 1080p@30/120/240/960fps, gyro-EIS. So actually how are the selfies of this Xiaomi 12x? They are crisp, sharp, and well-detailed. We think Xiaomi has done a good job with edge detection on the portraits. These are made possible by Xiaomi 12X’s 32 MP, 26mm (wide), 0.7µm front-facing lens.
It packs a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging that can charge up to 100% in 39 minutes, 50W wireless charging for 100% charge in 53 minutes, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
